
The gourmet cooks at work!
On September 8th we were bid farewell with a fantastic meal! Charly had organized three days earlier two and a half kilograms of meat for a «Sauerbraten». This was expertly prepared by Ursula and marinated in red wine and vinegar. Preparations began in the afternoon. Potatoes were prepared and tables moved together. For the aperitif, Ursula offered a cake with olives, tomatoes, garlic and onions. Charly donated two bottles of Prosecco, with which we toasted the good times that were behind us. It was a feast; at least for us Swiss, because Mexicans don’t know «Sauerbraten» in their kitchen! The evening ended with a few beers and a tequila Siete Leguas …
PS. On the coast, there is a laundry room climate. It’s hot and humid and actually only bearable if you’re sitting in an air-conditioned apartment. Just like us now!
