The flight on September 3, 2020 with Viva Aerobus was announced for 2.40 p.m. And it actually took place! In the times of Covid 19 this is no longer a matter of absolutely as it used to be – in the good old days! After two and a half hours we landed in Guadalajara. Here we grabbed a taxi that drove us to Atotonilco in just under an hour and a half.

It was like coming home. No wonder, because here, with Charly, we spent almost three months. Charly was waiting for us with a nightcap – a Tequila 7 Leguas. Now we knew we were back home. At least for a few more days, because on September 10th, 2020, at 9 a.m., we have to drive our Toyota into the container. And on 9/16 we fly with KLM from Mexico City via Amsterdam to Zurich.

Those last days will be over very quickly. Once again it is time to pack. Once again it is time to say goodbye. From Ursula and Markus, who returned from the Emmental two days before us. And from Isabella and Thomas who arrived here a few weeks ago. And from Charly and his family!

PS. But before we set off, we are really spoiled again. Ursula has baked us a braid for Sunday. And to say goodbye, Ursula and Charly prepare a «Sauerbraten» with mashed potatoes for us …
