This arch is located on a small hill in the Namib Naukluft National Park. You need a permit to visit it, but it’s easy to get in Swakopmund and for little money. However, you cannot reserve this place where there is no water and only an outhouse. «First come, first serve» applies. Because we knew that, we set off early in the morning. On the way we met the endemic quiver trees and a few ostriches. We didn’t see giraffes this time that we met on the last visit. However, a jerboa hiding under a ledge…
PS. We weren’t completely alone here either. There were a few birds that were happy that we provided them with water. And there were our kitten and the gerbil playing seek and catch…
