I know, I know, this saying actually applies to French cuisine. But the more we eat in ristorantes or osterias in Piedmont, the more we appreciate not only the wines but also the cuisine.
Already at home, in this case in Kandersteg, we choose the restaurants in which we want to dine. Not only our experience from previous visits helps us, but also the tips we get from Elisa, who works for a winery. She knows the scene very well and so we get to know a new restaurant every time we visit.

But in between we also like to eat at home and shop in a small delicatessen shop in Neive. They have excellent cheese, ham and my favorite mortadella, which is as big as the wheel on a small car! The offer also includes various antipasti and anchovies in jars. No wonder we always leave this shop with more Piedmonts delicacies than we actually wanted to buy…
