We are now used to encountering large groups of springboks and flocks of geese on the golf course in Rössmund. We always have joy when we meet these animals. And the more we meet them, the less shy they become – unless one of our golf balls that missed its target gets to close!

Last spring – that’s when it’s autumn in Switzerland – we noticed a young springbok that noticeably stood out from the others. No wonder, because he wasn’t fawn but almost white. Yesterday we met him again and, in the meantime, he has grown a lot. He moved among the herd, which welcomed him well. Thanks to him, we now know that there are albinos in the animal kingdom too!
