A PARTIE OF BOULE

An international team of players from NAM, D, F and CH

It’s been some time since we played Boule at Charly’s, in Atotonilco, in the state of Jalisco, in Mexico. At that time with Swiss people who, like us, were stranded in Mexico because of Covid 19 and waited until the onward journey to the south is possible. (Who would have thought back then that it would take longer than a few months?)

In the meantime, some of us are back in Switzerland. Others are still out and about in Mexico with their campervans and are wondering whether they should go further south. After an interim stay in Switzerland, we are in Namibia since the beginning of November 2020; currently in Omaruru. And here we made many new acquaintances. With German Namibians, with Germans and with French. What we all have in common is that we like to play Boule. We did that last saturday at the Omaruru River Lodge, where we are currently camping.

PS. We played against a well-rehearsed German-French team. The fact that we won against the 2-0 had more to do with luck than ability. But we won! Yeah!
