AN INTERESTING PROJECT

Freshly harvested!

We have been traveling the world for years. In doing so, we often see very beautiful things, sometimes less beautiful things and very rarely ugly things. And every now and then we come across something very interesting. For example, today!

Yesterday afternoon we arrived in Swakopmund after driving 250 kilometers. From a distance we saw the wall of fog over the sea. It grew cooler with every kilometer we got closer to the coast and the Benguela current. But Swakopmund then received us with a bright blue sky. After we had our vehicle washed from head to toe at the Car Spa, we drove to Gabi, who welcomed us with open arms in her beautiful house. In the evening we invited our hostess to a fish dinner and celebrated reunion.

This morning we made a visit to the Shalom farm outside Swakopmund, which we knew from visits before. However, we encountered something completely different: Avagro Group

PS. Leonie Hartmann, CEO and main shareholder of this company, told us about this project in which not only money but also a lot of heart and soul is invested. The Israelis have shown how to turn the desert into a blooming garden. And now the Namibians do the same!
