The days in Namibia are now getting shorter, just as they are getting longer in Switzerland, in the northern hemisphere. Shorter days mean longer nights and cooler temperatures. Just right for enjoying a fondue with friends again.

But where do you get fondue in Namibia? No problem when you have friends visiting regularly. Like Iris and Ueli from Zurich’s Gold Coast. (That’s also where some of the crooks who brought down CS live – but that’s another story!)

Our friends didn’t bring us gold but a delicious Swiss fondue  with a bottle of Kirsch as well. And they bought four crusty baguettes from a bakery in Swakopmund. So everything was ready for a fondue! Yesterday, April 3, 2025, the day has come to enjoy it with friends!
