At eight o'clock in the morning, four men from the "Läbesruum" from Winterthur were standing with two small trucks in front of our house. Brigitta and I (especially she!) had dismantled in the last days what have been beds, seatings, cupboards into parts and wrapped in foils. The moving men were amazed at how well prepared we were and made a compliment, which I gladly forward to Brigitta. After 1 1/2 hours the house was empty and the two trucks full with our household. Brigitta drove with the crew to Kindhausen, where we rented a cellar room. There our furniture will wait until we need it again in a few years.
Our house empties day by day more and it sounds as if we are living in a cave: hollow! Since two days we are sleeping on mats and in the sleeping bags. And we eat "camping style" – a good training for the upcoming trip!
